that depends on how many eggs you have in yer pot, and if the covers is on it, I usually rinse them in cold water after they are hardboiled, and peel em right away so the shell don't stick and ugly up yer eggs.

Water will boil faster at 25psi. The more pressure applied, more heat is required and it takes longer for it to boil. You car has a pressure cap on the radiator, most or 16 lbs. Without it your car would boil over and get hot in no time.

If all else is equal, i.e. volume of water, BTUs of heat etc the higher the pressure on in the vessel the higher the boiling point of water.
For example. In you car you have a radiator. If the water boils the cooling capacity is reduced. In addition a hotter running engine, to a point, is more efficient and less polluting. So in an effort to raise the boiling point of the coolant they do two thing. They add chemicals to the water, sometime alcohol or ethylene glycol. They also add a pressure cap on the radiator. This holds a head of pressure against the coolant raising the boiling point of the coolant. Water will boil at 212 degrees F at sea level on a standard day. With the pressure cap and chemicals we can run engines at 225 F or more.
If you boil water on top of Mt. Whitney, the highest point in the lower 48 States it is cool enough to wash your hands and not scald them. The reduced pressure at that altitude allows the water to boil at much less than 212 degrees. Many people in places like Denver use pressure cookers for much of their cooking. Potatoes will cook under pressure way faster than not when you are at 5000 feet or higher.

According toBoyle's law Pressure is directly proportional to Temperature and hence with the increase of pressure the boiling point will reach earlier and so one feels that water boils fast at higer pressure.
At higher altitudes due to lower atmospheric pressure the boiling point is lowered and the water takes more time to boil,
