Call 1-800-EAP4YOU. You can talk to a counselor 24/7 for free. It is the hotline number for the USPS employees and their families and anyone else concerned about a USPS employees behavior.

Sorry, yet you haven't any longer something that would desire to enable the police to intervene at this element. except there's a record of him abusing you (which i've got self belief there is not any longer if he became allowed to connect the Marines), you will could deliver him one respond text textile that tells him you're hectic of him and you choose him to surrender attempting to touch you or you will have not got any selection yet to call the police and obtain a restraining order. tell him you do no longer decide directly to do this on the grounds which you do no longer decide directly to reason him any trouble together with his military occupation yet because of the fact he became abusive to you once you have been at the same time and because he has threatened your modern-day boyfriend you're scared and decide on him to leave you on my own. shop a duplicate of the text textile. If he sends a straight away respond, shop it yet except he's out-and-out threatening you or the boyfriend, only enable it go. If he contacts you after that, call the police and start up the approach to get a restraining order. in case you deliver the text textile, this could supply you each and all the evidence you may desire to get the police in contact and to get a restraining order.

Two issues here- the first is a tough question for you and the second is a tough question for the postmaster.

First, what sort of proof do you have that your carrier performed some sort of crime? If it becomes a "he said-she said" issue, your case is weaker than if you had some sort of proof.

Second, if the postmaster tried to sweep your complaint under the rug, then *he* could be in hot water for not going to the Postal Service's investigative division. (See below)

One thing I see that might support your position is if your hospitalization record has a notation that you were there because of harassment. Good luck!

Why not file a claim in federal court against the carrier and the post office?

You have not given any specific facts of the case; however, if you are really emotionally or physically harmed, I would contact an attorney.

Otherwise, put this behind you and move on.

Good luck!

I don't understand why YOU didn't file a police complaint in the first place...harrassment, threats, now stalking...at the very least, you should now be able to obtain a long term restraining order

well, it doesn't sound like abuse to me. Maybe unwarranted flirtation, IF you can prove it. He has documentation on you, and you don't have anything on him. I hope you're an upstanding person in your community, because he is sure going to come out to look that way (everyone loves the friendly mail carrier right?)!
