There is no getting away from the war. Besides, the lower taxes have had little impact on the country, especially considering the cost of the war easily outweighs any savings we got from the tax cuts. I, for one, MIGHT have gotten $1,000 from them in the past four years. A basic analysis of my taxes shows, however, that I paid well over $3,000 in that same period to pay for a war I in no way support or ever supported. I think that is going to weight true for most people before its all said and done. Factor in the death and destruction and the collapse of the Middle East balance of power... we'll be seeing MORE terrorism as a result, not less. Like I said: there is no getting away from the war.

I believe that over all he will be known as one of the best.

The war - despite the flip flop mentality of the democrats and the paranoia of the conspiracy theorists- he stuck it out to win and get the job done

The economy - the size of the economy has almost doubled what it was before he was in office, despite the lack luster of the economy now we will still see a very low unemployment rate along with an increase in GDp even though people are worried of a looming recession. There are those whioch made bad investments and are now paying the price for that - it happens.

Alternative fuels- He has pushed for alternative fuels greater than any other president in the country.

Lowering of taxes - if you don't believe that he did lower them wait until 2010 when the taxation goes back up and people will no longer get the addition child tax credit.

Building of the Military- he sees the impending signs of a large scale war that may happen and has begubn perpaing the military for such a thing

social security - his ideas may not have passed through for ss changes but it may have planted the seed that a major overhaul is needed.

gas prices - any idiot knows the president doesn't control that
same with trade deficits and budgets(which are the responsibility of the congress)

War based on unconfirmed suspicions of nuclear bombs that turned out to be BS.

Putting corporations in charge of regulating themselves.

Nominating an unqualified boob for the supreme court

Defending the use of torture.

Ignoring a memo titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Within the US" 6 weeks before 911.

Trying to snow the American people and act like the boob he appointed to head FEMA was doing a good job with the Katrina disaster.

Contributing to global warming by removing the US from the Koyto Protocol.

Far too much more to list.

The seemingly dumbest president. Every other president made minor mistakes in their speeches, but Bush's all seemed to be full of:

- poor grammar
- made up words
- BAD word choices
- racial slurs

Go Hilary!

he will have a legacy as the most worthless president ever. the one who lost us jobs, raised gas prices, caused a pointless war, profited from our suffering, lost us our homes, and ruined health care.
