XPS m1710 vs. m1730?

im getting a new computer laptop for college and i wanna get a XPS but i don't know if i want a m1710 or m1730, sooo what do you think... help my out plz

Chances are the tech spec's will give you the primary difference like hard drive size, Ram that it comes with or the Video or Sound card being an upgrade. I would also guess either one will serve your purpose, if you don't fill it with Music and Games, that tend to slow things down.
