If I have a wrote a song melody and can sing it, but dont have any notes for instruments what do I do?

I have a few really cool song melodies I think of and can just sing,
but I cant play them on the Piano Or Guitar because I dont know which notes they are..What can I do to get the notes?
It seems almost impossible..

Record them on some sort of recorder...tape, computer, digital, whatever. Then find someone that can transcribe them for you.

There are programs out there that will transpose the music for you, but that may only work with instruments. The only real way I can suggest is the old fashioned on. Sit at a piano and plunk the notes until you find the right ones...
