1. A nickel rolls at a constant velocity across a tabletop 1.05m high. It rolls off the side of the table and hits the floor 0.0375m away. How fast was the nickel rolling initially? Please include work

x(t)=v0*t

when x(t)=0.375 and y(t)=0, the nickle lands

0=1.05-.5*9.81*t^2
solve for t
t=0.4627 sec
0.375=v0*0.4627
v0=0.81 m/s
