It would be impossible for ANYTHING to be lost inside the vagina. The vagina is a closed ended passage...with the only way in or out at the entrance of the body.
I am familiar with BenWa balls, and they will come out on their own if the vaginal muscles are allowed to relax. If the person doesn't want to wait that long, all she needs to do is sit on the toilet, act like she's having a bowel movement (bear down & push), and at the same time insert a finger into the vagina. When the ball is found simply hook the finger behind the ball and pull it out. It's NOT that hard and it doesn't require a trip to the doctor, the ER or the urgent care.

I don't think it could get stuck. It might get lost for a minute, but I think that it should be able to be pushed out with the muscles in the vagina without a problem.

The vagina isn't an endless tunnel so they have no where to go. All you would need to do is squat and bear down a little and they should pop right out. If not stick your finger in there and fish them out.

First try the bearing down(pushing). Then try your fingers. If these don't work and the girl is frantic, she will need to try relaxing. Have her take a hot bath, which will relax the vaginal muscles (and maybe her too), she can try bearing down in the tub. If all else fails, she needs to go to a doctor.

When I looked on Wiki to find out what the heck you were talking about, it is obvious that since you have to hold it in with muscle tension, you should be able to get it out by relaxing. Further, it is about the same diameter as the vagina so it is hardly going to get lost (do you lose marshmallows in your mouth?)

I could reach it with my finger, had to pull it out with a teaspoon, will only use those with a string and caution even with those.
