What all would I need to buy to make my internet wifi, and to share it with my brother who's house is about 150-200ft away from my house?

Just get a HIGH POWER router, stick with G at this point if you really need 200 feet. Add on a high gain antenna, Put the router near a window, or put an outside antenna on it (even better) It will work.. Been there done that, I use these routers they are 400mw output, that is 8 times what a linksys has.

they are about $80.00 but I have used them at well over 1/2 mile with outside antennas.

150-200ft is sketchy for wifi -- it would be better to run an actual CAT5e cable from your house to his house (connect to a router on both ends)
