i'm 90% sure that i won't graduate. I failed one of my English last year. Now i'm failing my English class this semester. Next semester, i will have Eng Comp, which is mostly about writing. I'm TERRIBLE at writing. Do you know it takes me like 10 - 15 min just to think of one sentence? I have to retake the ones that i failed, which means i will have THREE English classes in second semester. Gosh!!! i'm so gonna be dying alive. I can't imagine how my family would react if i don't graduate. ;((. I need helps!!!!!!!

maybe a little less time on yahoo, and more time studying. Did it take you 3 hours to write this question?

Don't worry i almost didn't graduate also. I was failing all of my classes. If your truly trying and taking advantage of all the tutoring your school offers than it might just be better to wait until summer and take the classes. I know it will suck not going to graduation but they take it easier on you in summer school. Especially if they see your trying.
Also letting the teacher now how much trouble you have at english should put your on their good side. If you come early, stay late, ask questions they'll see that your trying and give you those extra points you need. I know its brown-nosing but whatever works.
It could also be your environment. Some people work better around nature, where its quiet, or in a library. Some people like the hustle and bustle of being around a lot of people and having chaos around.
A good stimulate for writing is reading other peoples papers, not plagerizing, but reading papers or reading a story before you start writing usually stimulates the left side and gets the creative juices flowing.
If money's not a problem you can enroll in night school at a local community college and get those englishes out of the way. The tutors there are waaayy better. You could use the tutors without even enrolling, they're usually good at helping you write.

Right; you've been a Yahoo Answers member since October 22 of this year and you already have over 3000 points? Too much time spent here.

Focus on your studies, get extra help from your teachers, ask you parents for a tutor. Work each night and each weekend, diligently, on catching up. Read books; that will help with your English work overall. Stop (or SIGNIFICANTLY decrease) the time spent playing video games, watching tv, instant messaging, e-mailing, talking and texting on the phone.

If you put 100%+ into it, you will likely pass. Isn't that more important, in the end, than Yahoo Answers?

It shouldn't take you so long to write. Have you been checked for learning disorders? I'm sure I read somewhere about a learning disorder that effects one's ability to express himself through writing. While the ideas are in your head, the movement from brain to paper proves a significant challenge and of course the stress of this would only prove to make things worse.

Unfortunately, your school probably does not have the time nor the resources to help you with this. Try to ask for help, but if no help is available, don't give up on your education. Simply take the initiative to find help for yourself elsewhere. You may want to enroll in a GED, adult education or apprenticeship program. As for your family, let them be upset. This is your life.

Well, get off the p.c. and study. English is my favorite subject. If you met someone passionate about English, you could get tutored. Also, before your classes start, affiliate yourself with the teachers, get to know them, tell them how hard it is for you. Consider staying after class or meeting with instructors during lunches and breaks just to get help and tips.

Work at it harder you don't want to fail and have to take another year. Ask your parents if you can hire a tutor to help you and ask your teachers what you should do to improve.
English was my worst subject too and even in college I barely got by, so I feel your pain.

well in that case, i would suggest getting a head start on your college classes to show your family that you are serious about fixing up your future...you can easily start taking community college courses now and plan out what you're going to take here on out and then transfer to a university...granted, if you don't graduate high school, your family will still be upset and disappointed, but if you show them you can pick yourself up, they may have some hope in them

Well if you are a top contributor on Yahoo, and you just wrote a 11 sentence question, you obviously spend too much time on here and too little time on school.
