I'm 13 years old, every time I set my alarm and it rings in the morning, I always turn it off then go continue my sleep. And when I wake up I always have to rush. Is there any techniques I can use to make me wake up right away without feeling sleepy. Like what time should I wake up and sleep, what time the alarm should go on, etc.

Make sure you get at least 9 hours of sleep, that means stop whatever you're doing and get to bed on time. As far as waking up, I use what I call a "three alarm system". I set one clock by the bed, another on my cell phone, another one in another room. They all go off within 10-15 min. of ea other. That way when one goes off and I turn it off, I can't ignore the other two. Hope this helps.

I get up, turn on the light, then get back in bed and try to sleep. It is hard and you'll get up. Or, ask someone in your family to change your clock by a few minutes, so you dont know the real time. You'll have to get up as soon as your alarm goes offf because you don't knwo the real time. Or, have your alarm be a song from your iPod or the Radio, so you'll be motivated to to wake up. there's no way to wake up and NOT feel sleepy, sorry. but these help you wake up faster!

I used to keep my alarm far from my bed so that I'd be forced to get up and walk through the cold air and on the cold floor to shut it off. By the time I got to the alarm, I was already too awake to contemplate going back to bed again.

And, never, ever, discount the value of a sufficient night's rest. Most people who have trouble arising in the morning have this trouble because they're not sleeping enough at night!

uh..
1. dont turn your alarm off and get up?
2. get a digital radio/alarm clock and get it 10 minutes before the time you need to get up. then when it goes off hit snooze and you get 10 more minutes. so it feels like your getting more sleep when your really not. also waking up 10 minutes before helps you 'get ready' to wake up.

3. take a shower in the morning, its really refreshing and totally helps me wake up.

ooor, just dont go to school. ^_^
