Did you know that there was no U.S. response to Iraq invading Kuwait until Saudi Arabia asked the U.S. (GHW Bush) to get involved?
I was glad that the U.S. removed an invader from a sovereign nation. The thing is though that as far as Iraq is concerned we (U.S of A.) have become the invader of a sovereign nation!
Our government can try to rewrite history all they want but the fact of the matter is the U.S. started a pre-emptive war of aggression with a country that posed absolutely no imminent threat to U.S. national security.
No this will not be as rewarding. Unless of course you are a war stockholder!

For Americans, I don't recall the liberation of Kuwait being that exciting, so I doubt Iraq will instill much feeling at all, other than the relief that the killing will finally end.
From the Iraqi point of view, I think they will be elated to finally be liberated from the presence of the US.

a million. Iraq oil has the main important "shown" oil reserves and improve into our quantity a million US exporter. 2. With sanctions in place, the U. S. ought to no longer anticipate Iraq for oil. 3. today, our 3 ideal exporters of oil to the U. S. are Mexico. Canada and Saudi Arabia(that's fairly insecure as sources bypass) right here is an extraordinarily small area of a record to congress approximately Iraqi oil: Iraq’s skill oil wealth remains as a rule unrealized. important shown reserves exist, and there are possibly extra components waiting for discovery. yet oil production has been sluggish to totally recuperate in the course of the post-Saddam era, and diverse hindrances stand interior the way of reaching a sturdy export pass. in addition to, refineries are in choose of rehabilitation, necessitating imports of gas and cooking gas interior of Iraq. regardless of those problems, the existence of great components shows effortless exploitation and rewarding export earnings that should help fund Iraq’s redevelopment. Are we re-construction Iraq or have become those oil wells waiting to bypass? And assisting American firms arise and working? to no longer point out the $12 billion despatched over to Iraq in money via Bremer-ans is lacking. surprisingly, this improve into as a rule the money the U. S. Coalition took custody of from the UN Oil for nutrition "scandal". So, they have been corrupt and spending it badly and we made it disappear?
