School teachers do not need to dress up. In the state where I teach, the unified school district does not even have a dress code or manual to follow. Some schools also have a uniform for the teachers to wear, which makes it even easier.

Don't choose a job based on the dress code. It's often less rigid than you think (I am a male doctor, and regularly wear earrings and eyeliner), and it won't matter to you in 10 years nearly as much as it does now.
Apply yourself now, and choose a job for its other merits and your talents.

I work in banking, where you have to dress
My girlfriend is a macro-biologist, she wears jeans and t-shirts...
Our boyfriend does specialized computer-programmer work at his house.....I think he wears boxers most of the time....
