This si a very tough question.

i do not want to discourage you from your efforts, but you should understand how difficult it is. The biggest problem you have to overcome is lethergy.

Since it is happeneing "over there", people aren't that involved. (The same thing happened with East Timor).

Even if you could mobilize action, you are frustrated by the Sudanese government who is actively abetting this tragedy.

The UN is paralyzed to do much, as their workers are being slain as well.

Still, I would start witht he pastor of your local church to see if something could be mobilized. Certainly get the media on your side to keep this fresh in the minds of the public

The Darfur genocide has killed more than 400,000 civilians and displaced 2.5 million people from their homes. About the size of Texas, the Darfur region of Sudan is home to racially mixed Muslim tribes. In February 2003, frustrated by poverty and neglect, two Darfurian rebel groups launched an uprising against the Khartoum government. The government responded with a scorched-earth campaign, arming and bankrolling militias against the innocent civilians of Darfur. A small peacekeeping force run by the African Union is in place, but it is largely unsupported by the rest of the world. Civilian protection is desperately needed to stop the violence and end the genocide.

You personally? How much money do you have? Do you have enough to raise a Private Military Company and launch your own invasion?

If not, then pressure your congressional representatives and UN representative and demand action. Work with NGOs (non-governmental organizations) such as Doctors without Borders, Amnesty International, or the ICRC to pressure Sudan to put an end to the violence, or let in the professionals to do so for them.

You can also work to replace the current international anarchical system with a Federal World Government that can intervene in such situations and not be stopped by outmoded concepts such as "sovereignty" We need a global version of the FBI that reach into countries and stop this sort of behavior.

Greed has something to do with genocide. Check laws on Separation Of Church and State if so see if it is possible to separate Greed from State place a protection of religion if one not already have Religious Freedom Law.Neither State nor new Greed religion may harm anyone. Greed is a belief not a God so will not conflict. Those who wish greed can do without violence in place of worshipp.Civil Rights are good but have been suspended. Next no sales of weapons . Greed should be part of State with consent of people that believe in it could stop. Janja Weed is problem. War Crimes Trials maybe. Is Civil War.UN Force to stop usual but violence would not work even if intentions benign could be used as pretext for control if resources of value.

You can write letters and send them to officials there in Darfur, you can send money to relief groups that are helping the effort there. You can make others aware of what is going on and get them involved to offer support, donations, send clothes and do what they can to help the effort as well.

The ongoing Darfur Genocide is no accident, no local tribal conflict. The genocide is the brutal plan of three men in the Sudanese national Government -- President Bashir, Vice-President Taha, Security Chief Gosh. Now they are spreading their system of terror to other African countries, including Chad and the Central African Republic . Yet our governments continue to cut deals with them - deals they repeatedly break. It is time for the US and European governments to stop appeasing genocide. We call on our governments to fully support the International Criminal Court to indict the perpetrators of genocide, and to help ensure their arrest. It is time for justice, because only justice can bring peace.

For Bashir, Taha and Gosh, it is time for handcuffs, not handshakes.

So far, we have used your generous support to carry out the following projects:
Sent a team of experts to Darfur and the region to meet with representatives of the people of Darfur to listen to what we can do to help bring peace, and to help the international community better understand how to support these groups. Click here to see photos from our trip to Darfur.
Organized two hunger strikes of several thousand people in all 50 states and worldwide. Click here to read initial press coverage.
Sent a camera crew to Darfur to provide up to the minute video footage to international media of the situation on the ground.
Supported rolling protests at Sudanese embassies in other countries, including in Washington DC, where with our partner the Sudan Campaign, we have encouraged several religious leaders and prominent personalities to get arrested.
Hired a PR firm to train, book, and drive Sudan advocates like John Prendergast and Samantha Power into the mass media in the US and Europe. Together with our partner TrueMajority, we have achieved several major media hits with this approach.
Provided advice and support to several other organizations working on Darfur, including the Genocide Intervention Fund, the Sudan Campaign, the Save Darfur Coalition, the National Council of Churches, TrueMajority, MTV and many others at international, national and local levels.
Developed this website to inform several hundred thousand visitors, organize over 35,000 online and grass roots activists, and advocate on Darfur. pp

Get in a relationship with Jesus Christ, then pray and he will answer your CONSTANT prayer. Then believe that you receive what so ever you ask for. Prayers go a lot further, faster, bigger and causing more change than anything else. Otherwise write your politicans and go to Darfur.com they have a few suggestions.

Write to your senators, write to your congressman, write to the president. Join a group (non-violent) in support of it. You can start out on something like Care 2.
