i have a 2000 bmw 323i and sometimes in the morning it takes abt half an hour to warm up and it doesnt even go all theway just abt quarter barely so does the battery have to do antyhing with tht

sounds like a bad thermostat

I'm pretty sure it's the thermostat.

When you replace this, you will lose some antifreeze/coolant. So you will need to buy a bottle of original BMW coolant.

You won't need the whole bottle unless you flush the radiator at the same time. I recommend using distilled water with this antifreeze. They mix 50/50, so you end up with 2 galllons with this 1 gallon bottle.

That's all you need for parts and supplies. The rest is just labor. Make sure your mechanic bleeds the system after the new thermostat is installed. The bleed screw is next to the radiator filler cap (black plastic screw). Watch that he does not overtighten and break this screw too.

battery has nothing to do with it, but your cooling system does, try flushing your cooling system with new coolant.
