Every time someone says "deal with it" to me, I feel like dumping a bucket of Red ants down their pants.Does that make me sound mean?

Every time my man is cooking something he'll take a look at whatever it is & he says,"Now that's looking happy"! I HATE that!!

I love the bucket of red ants idea. LOL. I hate it when someone says, "And how is (insert your own name), today?" Do you know what I mean? Like, say your name is Todd and someone comes up to you and says "And how is Todd today?" That drives me crazy. They are looking at you and instead of asking how you are they sound like they are asking you how someone else is, but it's you! How lame is that? It's like they think you are a moron or something. I usually give them the look and say I don't know, I haven't seen them today or something sarcastic like that and walk away. Yeah, it really bugs me. What can I say?
I also hate "so everyone is on the same page" remarks.

Whenever I hear some wise assed kid say "whatever", I want to beat their brains in with a hammer. So far I have avoided the temptation, but I'm not making any promises about the future.

As a kid I hated hearing my mom say "life isn't fair" (in response to my "it's not fair" lines).
Random sayings that I hate, and some don't make sense..

Well when I don't get my way my mother has this old hillbilly line: "Tough titty said the kitty when the milk went dry!"
I guess it means "TOO BAD"
She says it all the time and I just want to slap her.

no, not at all. my parents always tell me to " just deal with it". yes, i find annoying as well. since a young child, i was always told "life is hard and then you die". i can tell you having this programmed in my mind doesn't help me one bit.

i can't stand it when someone says whatever. i hate it when someone says tell it to the hand with that da*n hand gesture as well.

it doesn't sound mean. i hate when you ask something like "is today thursday?" and they say "all day". it sounds so condescending.
