it's not the teacher's fault everybody has the M name in their culture. Seriously. If it's not their first name, it's their middle name, or last name. Even women have the M name

Surely the issue is not that someone found it offensive. I found some of, well to be accurate most of, your suggestions offensive.
That is bound to happen in any society. What was wrong was the overblown reaction in Sudan( mostly political posturing I suspect) and in Britain.
I feel really sorry for the teacher, but at least with all the fuss she will get a good job back in the UK.
It would be nice if diplomats would always rush out to other countries to rescue people who have innocently found themselves without a legal leg to stand on.
When my husband became mentally unstable and left me in legal limbo by not renewing my residence papers or visa the British Embassy basically shrugged its shoulders and said
" Well you married him!"
OK so I wouldn't have been lashed if I was arrested for being an illegal, but I was left powerless and unable to work or get any facilities.
I know that it is another issue, but it follows on from what has affronted you!

Rampage! It could be offensive to some people to call Jesus a "prophet" so do not do it!!! - He fulfilled the prophesies. He was greater than the prophets - to them. and he DEFINITELY was NOT mohammed's brother.

Noone should be able to use a prophet's name like Jesus to name after their pets..!! Mohammed and Jesus are brothers and are NOT pet names..!!
