Yes he is. I prefer Huckabee, but I'd vote for Mitt if he wins the primary. He actually brings experience to the table that no one else can....he's made a fortune. That's why we need someone like him, to fix our finances in the government.
His work to save the Utah Olympic Games was amazing, and anyone who doubts his character should look there to see that he is a man of honor but not perfection.

I think he is the best candidate for this country but I do not think the Republican Party will gamble on the unknown of his being Morman when it will be a very close election with the likely Democrat nominee being highly vulnerable. All I know is that I would vote for him over any of the current crop of Democrat loosers. If it is Rudi vs Hillary; I'll vote for a third party candidate and prepare for the end.

I don't see any difference between him and GW Bush except that Romney has been a successful businessman whereas GW Bush was not. But otherwise, they are two smarmy guys who have their schtick down to a science and affability to spare.

He does seem to have a more positive message than Giuliani. I'm not sure who is best, but a vote for Giuliani is a vote for the continuation of the current Bush policy. I think we can do better.

He would make a good leader and has the necessary eperience to be a President unlike many of the other candidates particularly the Democrats. He has a very likeable personality, is honest and forthright, is a good family man and personally I'd vote for him because of these qualities and his policies.

To me, one of the features of "character" as you have used it is having bedrock principles that you stand by no matter what.

Since Romney has flip-flopped on everything from abortion rights to gay rights to taxes, depending on which office he was running for, I don't consider him a man of character.

He reminds me of George Bush with a dash of Dan Quayle. Pro war (Iran also) and wants to end social security. That's what he says now, but he changes his mind quite often.

Mitt Romney sounds like a GW Bush clone...more war, more taxes, less education, less choices, less rights.
