Yes, I believe it will. But our existence won't end with our destruction. Humanity will end when we finally evolve into posthumans. (See Wiki definition/explanation below.)

IT can be dangerous because we have bigger and badder weapons with the same old emotions we've always had. We've made it so much easier to kill someone or even annihilate entire cities with the motion of a finger. BUt with that also comes potential for life-saving technologies and medicines. It's a tool. It's all about how it's used. But it creates a tremendous potential for widespread destruction and, sure, if we're not careful.. it will happen.. it's WHEN it happens rather than IF it happens.

No, actually all inventions and that includes techs are good provided it benefited mankind. But the same thing put in a hand of few irresponsible people can create HAVOV!!! coz that's what tech does. It promote at a fast rate of developement positively if used properly but at the same time if in the hands of "monkeys" it can be very, very destructive. I like my Indian story here, it goes like this:
If you gave peanuts to monkeys, it will run and come to you as it recognises u as someone giving it something good, u give it banannas it will still do the same but, I mean BUT IF U GAVE IT GINGER!!!!! Oh! boy will it give u chase for your life!!!!. That's the way tech is.

Stages of technology change human behavior, including awareness. "The Soulless One," Mark Prophet, deals with this. Unless weapons technology or some other "oops" eradicates mankind, technology is more likely to change than "end"
people, e.g. perhaps make them less inwardly aware.

No. Technology is part of our existence. From the first constructed fire, to the www.
