It had info about that in my 17 magazine. I am going to go get it and let you know. I don't know I really think it is spotting but it could be an infection.

First of all - don't panic! It does not necessarily mean you are pregnant at all or that there is anything seriously wrong if wrong at all. Darkish brown discharge is usually dried blood and that can be a remnant from a period and last for a while before and especially after but it can also be related to ovulation for some women. You may just be ovulating which ties in with your last period being in mid November.

I recommend you see your doctor privately (or a school nurse if one is available) just so they can check your hormone levels and reassure you everything is ok. The doctor will need to know you've been sexually active but he/she won't tell your mum as it is not likely to be relevant.

You need to get pregnancy professionally ruled out as a dark discharge in early pregnancy is potentially an ectopic pregnancy so although this is VERY unlikely - don't let fear stop you getting it checked to be on the safe side.

So, DON'T panic!
DO, however, seriously think about whether or not it is sensible to give yourself sexually while you are so young and your body is developing. You will regret it when you are older, I promise! You are worth more :)

First of all, ask yourself this question... was the sex worth all this stress? I have 3 children & this is similar discharge as when I was first pregnant. The browninsh color may indicate dried blood, left over from your last period to. If it keeps up, take a pregnancy test. The best person to talk to about it would be your doctor. If you are pregnant, know that that is a new little life you have in there & do the right thing.

It's either spotting from your period, perhaps your cycle changed. It could also be and STD or a Miscarriage, in any case I really think you should see a Gynecologists as soon as possible! If you still fear telling your mother find a Plan Parenthood, which is a clinic for young teens where they can get free testing and care without notifying your mom. But I'm sure your mom is the best person to ask for help! Good luck!

i could positioned stable money that this is a yeast an infection after all... If the an infection is predicated a techniques sufficient interior you, there won't be the traditional indications... this happens to my spouse on an rare development, and fairly if our intercourse has been fairly "energetic"... the shown fact which you these days discontinued in spite of start administration you have been employing ought to easily deliver approximately the form of inflammation that can furnish the yeasties their risk to attack. this is no longer suitable what the BC technique replaced into, this is the substitute (chemical or actual) this is significant right here. the particularly some forms of yeast are opportunists that strike while issues substitute. there is likewise the prospect that this replaced into some leftover semen that coagulated and have been given wedged in beside the cervical commencing. severe sufficient up interior that the traditional acids that help sparkling the vagina could no longer get to it. previous semen has a tendency to handle a yellowish colour, yet would not often clot up like that... It additionally could be a "plug" from the cervical commencing itself, made out of the two semen and your very own organic ingredients. Semen has some residences that help dissolve mucous barriers on the way up into the uterus, and in the experience that your cervix replaced into no longer used to being uncovered to semen, this could be a consequence of the semen loosening the "plug"... if that is so, you will now be plenty greater open to being pregnant. If it keeps, call your OB/Gyn, or in case you notice the different unusual indications... maximum suitable, Ed, RN

First, I hope you're using protection!!!

Hormone levels are changing during your teens, and our periods react to it. What you're describing sounds like a thicker discharge--it is menstrual discharge because the blood makes is brown. The clots you're passing could also be a sign of a thicker discharge. It comes out when you empty your bladder because the urine stream washes out the clumps at the entrance.

This could be a sign of something called endometriosis, and untreated is could keep you from having kids when you're older. Talk to your mom--if you haven't seen a girlie doctor yet, you definitely should, for this and because you're having sex.

if it smells you really need to tell your mom , it could be an infection or something. I understand that its embarrassing to talk about but you really need to not let things go untreated especially in that part of your body. Even if its nothing its better to know for sure I just noticed it aid you were sexually active .did you use protection? are you getting cramps with it .. I know you said you already got your period but you should take a pregnancy test I have had friends who thought they had a period but it was egg implanting in their uterus. Its unlikely but possible. worth eliminating anyway. Good Luck

Hi Mimi,
First, calm down. To me it sounds like you might have had some tearing/bleeding of the vaginal walls--either from the intercourse or from tampon use. It happens. What you are experiencing is probably just "old" blood finally exiting your body from the scratches/lacerations/tears.
Fresh "new" blood is normally bright red. The clumps are probably clots of blood.

Secondly, if you were my daughter (my daughter is now 19) I would want you to feel comfortable enough with our relationship as mom & daughter that you could come to me and say, "Hey mom, I have something personal to talk to you about. Here is what is happening:" and tell her what you've shared here.

I've been thinking about your problem and a way to avoid telling your mother, but I'm in my 40s and I've never had a problem like that before, so I think you need to see a doctor. You could have an infection, and if it's not treated you could have lifelong side effects. That's worse than telling your mother, so I think you should tell her and go to the doctor ASAP. Trust me, your mom doesn't want you to suffer or be sick.

You could be spotting because you are being sexually active. At 15 your body is not ready for it. Also it could just be spotting but different. Your body will change when you have sex. Make sure to practice safe sex it's very important.
