Yes, it is a simple repair and will fix the pre existing problem, as well.
Best to get a repair manual from auto parts store. they are great and give step by step directions for everything from taking off door panel to rebuilding engines. Have lots of actual pics...
then u can either order a new part, once u have the panel off and see exactly what u need, or get it from a junk yard for a fraction of the cost of a new one and just as good.
book will run u about 20 bucks or just go in and read it while standing there. I buy one for every car I buy, can't live w/o one.
The other option is to take it to a body shop, avoid the dealership, they are much, much too expensive -don't buy the new part there or use them for the repair, it will cost u twice as much to use them.
It feels good to do it urself and understand how it works.
good luck

Door handles ? Dealer or here.http://car-part.com/. Good luck , nothing we can do now. Btw . brakes and tires have nothing to do with this. Door handle broke from lack of maintenance. I drive a north american car and don`t have this problem

I take it that it's the inside handle, it's an easy fix, just go to the dealer or junkyard and get a new handle and install it.
