Yes you are.
Let me give you 10 Reasons why.
1. Hawaii has the easiest scheduele in Division 1 football.
2. They played 2 teams all year with a winning record.
3. The only major conference team they played was a 4-7 Washington team that was 7th in the Pac-10.
4. The combined record of the teams they played was 55-92
5. The only team they played that has been in the top 40 was Boise State.
6. Boise State had the 2nd easiest scheduele in FBS
7. Colt Brennan passes the ball 50 times a game his stats aren't legit.
8. Hawaii is in the WAC.
9. The WAC is terrible and doesn't deserve a National championship contender.
10. Put Hawaii in the SEC. See what happens!!

People say that Hawaii should be in the NC game because they are unbeaten . First off the so called bowl games (BCS) are not affiliated with the NCAA in determining a Div 1A champ. These games are run by corporate sponsors and not by the NCAA. The NCAA in no way at this point in time determines who the champ is. The truth is the sportswriters in the AP and the Coaches and a non NCAA computer do. So when a team regardless of schedule is the only one left standing unbeaten at the end of the regular NCAA season in Div 1A football. It only makes sense that they deserve it. Lets not forget last year when Boise State was the only unbeaten team left last year after the bowl games were done and yet they did not even get a share of the championship.
As far as this year goes Hawaii is regardless of the outcome in the BCS game, the NCAA Div 1A Champ

I just asked a similar question. I, as well as many other people, don't think they are the best team in the country. But the people who are saying this are not on the field and no team on the field has proved that they're not. I hope they beat Georgia and I hope that the people on top realize that if two "poor conference" teams win bcs bowl games two years in a row (Boise State last year) Then maybe they will slightly start to think about maybe considering the idea of possibly having a playoff. Go Hawaii!!

If you are not the only one, you are one of a very few. Undefeated yes but they only had one game against a BCS conference team. Washington finished in the lower half of the Pac10. Hawaii struggled against the Huskies and had to rally to win that game. If the C-USA, Mountain West and WAC teams want to compete in a BCS title game in the future they need to schedule at least two games against formidable BCS conference teams. Had Hawaii played and beaten California and or Kansas and or Michigan then I would say sure they deserve the shot but they played a cream puff schedule.

i say yes ONLY bc Ohio St was "defaulted" in to the BCS title game due to their 11-1 record. If the poll voters r able to do that then Hawaii should get in with an undefeated record. Now do i think hawaii is the best team in the nation? hell no! but neither is ohio state. however yall r going to the sugar bowl. that's not bad at all, and besides if hawaii beats georgia then they are definitely one of the top 5 teams in the country.

Yes it is time that major college football join the rest of the sports world (literally) and come up with a playoff system. Only in college football can an undefeated team not be allowed to play for the championship.

I think they have a right to ***** and although I would like to see an Oklahoma / Hawaii BSC Championship Game (as well as a USC / LSU and USC / Ohio St), I don't think the deserve to be there ... now merge the WAC and the Mountain West and maybe they deserve to become a BCS Conference

You're not alone. There are people who think they should go. But I don't think they should. It doesn't matter if they are undefeated, they have played nobody and they struggled with Washington last night. That game was close and it could have gone either way. They are in a BCS bowl game and that's as good as they'll come.

No they do not have a right to play in the National Championship game. They have the 117th ranked schedule in the nation. They played multiple Division I-AA teams. If they would have played somebody and beat them yes definitely.
Lets see how they do in the bowl game.

I don't think you are the only one, but you are one of the few.
A couple of NCAA Division III teams were undefeated. They should play for the National Title Game.
The local high school near me went undefeated. They should play for the BCS Championship.
Strength of schedule counts. Is Hawaii good? Sure. National Championship quality? No.
