Recieve: Daniel Alfredson and Henrik Lundvqist

Heres my view: ill lose some offense with iginla, but alfredson is a proven scorer.

Leclaire is doing okay so far, but he cant keep his numbers up this good. Lundvqist has proven he can win.

No doubt in my mind Iginla is much better than alfie, but Lundvqist is much better than Leclaire..

Green (again)--aint got nothing against leclaire, great goalie on a crappy team, but you cannot deny lundqvist is a better goalie.

I'll put it this way: Lundqvist is FAR more superior to Leclaire than Iginla is superior to Alfredsson. So yeah. I'd make that trade.

Don't do it, Moosey!! IT'S A TRAP! (Plus I already hired a sniper to take out Alfie, so he'll be out for the rest of the season... or the rest of his life.) ;)

Honestly, no. Keep your goods.

Leclaire plays for a not-so-good team, but his stats are right up there with the best of 'em. And Iginla is tied for 2nd in points. He's a keeper.

(You should never trust a goalie whose last name ends with "qvist")

Moose: FINE. *tear* But it's not Lundqvist who's proven he can win, it's the Rangers as a whole. They're just a better team all around. And well... you can't expect ME to admit Alfie is a better player than Iginla... even if he is... which he isn't... but if he was I wouldn't admit it anyway... but I don't have to worry about that because he's not.

Ok... I understand where you people are coming from about how the trade is decent, because it is. But what is with all the Leclaire haters? Seriously. I KNOW he hasn't been a dream goalie in the past. I KNOW he's tied for 14th for wins. I KNOW he looks like an orc. But come on... he plays for Columbus and he's in the top five for every single category except for wins! Give him some credit. He IS playing well this season. And Lundqvist plays for a really good team. He's like Ryan Miller was last year. He's a good goalie, but he has quite a bit of help in front of the net.

Moosey: Yes, yes... What can I say? I just love orcs! And Crown Royal! However, both just cloud my judgement... ;) Make your trade. lol

P.S. I wouldn't value my opinion tonight... we finished the entire bottle. :|

'Cause it's the new Mother Nature takin' ovaaahhhh
It's the new splendid lady come to call
It's the new Mother Nature takin' ovahhhh
She's gettin' us all
She's gettin' us all

Da un do de de da un do de
Da un do de de no no

G'night moose moose. :)

Puck: I prefer the stylings of Tolkien. I didn't say Leclaire is better than the Swede, did I? Ah well... what's done is done. Anyway... is it raining where you are? It's raining here... hopefully it will become freezing rain because I would really like an excuse NOT to go to work tomorrow... YAY ONTARIO.

I would definitely do this trade.

Look at goalies first: Pascal Leclaire is really strong solely because of shut outs. Lundqvist has 4 more wins, more saves, a better GAA, and their save percentages are practically equal. Leclaire can't keep on getting shut-outs, but NYR offense is finally clicking, and that will get even more wins for Lundqvist.

On to the players: Alfredsson is on a line with Heatley and Spezza. Spezza was injured before, and is back now, so his points are just going to get stronger. Ottawa has tanked, but all of the games have been close ones, so Alfredsson is going to remain strong. Jarome Iginla is a great player, but Calgary isn't as strong offensively this season than last.

I would make the trade solely because your goaltending stats are going to be helped tremendously by doing the trade.

Dude I don't understand what they are talking about with Alfredsson being out for the rest of the season, but he is the man. Leclaire, jeez i don't know if his numbers will keep up for the rest of the season but Lundqvist is definitely the man. I would do this trade if i was in your position. Plus with the way Calgary is going, you'll be lucky to get a point a night with Iginla.

LOL - I'd do that. Alfie will get 100 points and Henrik will get 40+ wins. How long before the Leclaire buble bursts?

Green: How do you feel about Trolls? Blue skin, pink mohawk, and tusks sharpened to a point. Stylin'.

DO IT DO IT!

Alfy, right up there with the goal leaders, very consistent lately.

Lundvquist is a great goalie who is much more consistent then Leclaire

I think Iginla and Alfredsson is a wash, but I think if you can move LeClaire for Lundqvist, that would be great!

I would, leclaire had one career game, he wont do much like that again, lundvqist is definitely the top goalie, and alfreddson is a decent trade to iginla, makes up for lundvqist i guess.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Lundvqist is ranked fifth overall on yahoo, and the Sens have a better system going than the Flames, which will result in good stats for their captain.

Yes, I would.

Henrik Lundquvist is the best goalie in the NHL. Daniel Alfedson is one of the best skaters. For one good player being Ignla, go for it!
