Intelligence is type-blind. Intelligence is the capacity to absorb, process and utilize information. The important thing is to recognize that all information is potentially important, and that to dismiss any of it as unimportant is unintelligent.

Well, in order to survive in the world, linguistic intelligence is pretty hefty. You couldn't really survive without it. But thankfully, almost everyone has this to some degree or another.

But the one I value most in other people is emotional intelligence. I'm pretty high in that, and I want to be a counselor, so I value it in others, because I can connect with them in ways I can't connect with others.

*EDIT*
By the way, are you talking about Gardner's 9 types of intelligence? If you are, you can copy and paste these into "add details" for everyone.
linguistic- words, speaking
logical-mathematical- math, numbers
musical- writing, reading, and using music to learn
bodily-kinesthetic- using your body- touch is tantamount and most people high in this are dancers or athletes
spatial- good idea of space, architects, etc.
interpersonal- dealing with other people in social situations
intrapersonal- knowing how you are doing, monitoring yourself
existential- spiritual aspect, knowing what your purpose is
environmental/naturalist- natural world, like animals and plants and weather

I think that "metaphysical" intelligence is the most important (If there is such a thing). Metaphysics is the study of realty. Most of our behavior is based on what we believe to be true about the world we live in. For example, if there is a God or if there is not a God makes a difference in how one lives their life. So I think that the most important form of intelligence is knowing what is real and not real. Because once you know that, you will know how to live.

Intellectual integrity: the ability to think rationally about something, and not be swayed by your emotions, dogmas, biases, beliefs, desires, preferences, etc. Letting reason and evidence guide you to an answer rather than starting with the answer you want and then looking for justifications for it.

among what "type" of intelligence?? do you mean

IThat's a good question.. Rational intelligence allows you to understand the world in a systematic and predictable.way.....which is VERY practical..

however...EMOTIONAL intelligence is beneficial in it allows for more deeper and meaningful relationships in life.....so I guess the answer would be relative

I think logic, because if people cannot deduce their own answers, figure things out, solve puzzles and complete tasks sensibly, they aren't very intelligent at all.
