Is Sang A Word

In case you are asking if 'sang' is a slang word...the answer is NO. It is common past tense of 'sing'.

Slang words are not so exact in their meaning, but resort more to painting a mental picture to describe something.

It is not slang. Yes, he sang a lovely song, and a lovely song was sung. Thank Goodness I don't have to learn this as ESL!

YEEeeesssSSS a nice word meaning a past tense of "sing"... And 'slang' is a word, too-- all those new phrases and words that spring up with each generation are often called slang. 'Gee whiz' is ancient slang, but probably still called slang.
