WELL ITS CUZ OF THE POPULATION, THE BIGGER UR STATE & CITY, & POPULATED WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE & IS CONNECTED TO OTHER STATES THEN U GOTTA HAV A PRO TEAM CUZ THEN U CAN MAKE MONEY
*HAWAII HAS LYK 1 MILLION 200 THOUSAND PEOPLE.
SINCE HAWAII ISNT CONNECTED TO ANOTHER STATE, IT WONT BE EASY FOR OTHER PEOPLE FROM OTHER STATES TO COM TO HAWAII & WATCH.
THE CLOSEST THING TO A PRO TEAM IN HAWAII IS THE HAWAII WARRIORS WHO GOT INTO THE SUGAR BOWL EARNING THEM $4.2 MILLION, THATS TWICE AS MUCH AS THEIR BUDGET.
*ALSO SPORTS, LYK FOOTBALL RELLY A LOT IN TV. RATING, & THE WAY HOW WARRIORS GAME START IS @ 6:05 PM, THATS 11:05 PM EAST COAST & LYK 8:05 PM L.A. TIME, WHATS THE CHANCES OF PEOPLE WATCHING THE WHOLE GAME.THAT GAME WILL FINISH LYK 10,HAWAII TIME & 3 IN THE MORNING EASTERN TIME,
*ALOHA STADIUM(FOOTBALL FIELD) HOLDS ONLY 50,000 SEATS, MOST OF THE NFL IS LYK 80,000.
BY DA WAY IM FROM HAWAII & I WISH FOR AN NFL TEAM BUT IM HAPPY WITH OUR COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAM

There are a lot of reasons why Hawaii and Alaska don't have any professional teams.
Hawaii its pretty much what other people have said.
Alaska...and being from Alaska its mainly due to 2 reasons. Population and Travel. The only place where a professional team would be able to play in Alaska would be Anchorage and the population is somewhere between 200,000-500,000 people. Its not enough for a professional sports team to make any money.
But in Summer league baseball we kick some butt. Some great players have come to Alaska and play. I think we have somewhere 600 professional baseball players that played summer ball in Alaska.

For Alaska, it's both travel and a small, spread out population. I think Hawaii has the population, but the travel would be brutal, especially for teams on the East Coast.

Partly. Alaska doesn't have a big enough fan base to support a pro football team, the market's too small. The Hawaii market is too small too. Hawaii would have a shot if they weren't so far away and could have neighboring states or markets as part of their own, but they don't.

it's all market...owner's need to believe they can fill the seats, sell merchandise and earn tv rights.... there's no american football fan base in hawaii or alaska. University of Hawaii has sufficed to them and they play hockey where it snows. Never going to happen. You'll see a Japan team (and hopefully a Los Angeles team) before you'll see one in Hawaii or Alaska

It is because of the travel and economics.
Neither area has enough population or interest to support teams.
