Was Texas underrated? UCLA overrated? What are the effects of this game?

The teams atop the college basketball polls early usually fall a little because they play non-conference opponents, which means for some teams, some tough competition!!! Nice to see that Texas is as good as or an even better team than when they had Durant. UCLA is still a good team and can play some defense. Please keep in mind that this was a two point game!!! It's not like Texas stomped all over them. Texas will probably jump over UCLA, but the Bruins will stay in the top 10.

Hey Super Mario,

i think that UCLA was slightly overhyped... but at the same time they haven't and still are not healthy. i was at the game and 3 times in the final 5 minutes Darren Collison was adjusting his brace, and Kevin Love looked gimpy the whole game. Mike Roll just played his first game and was looking a little unsharp.

UCLA did show that when they play with intensity they're scary. They started off the game up 10-4 and caught up from 12 points just like that to open the 2nd half. i think they're as good as advertised but due to injuries not as good as UNC and Memphis are (who are healthy and a little bit more seasoned).

For Texas this will move them up in the ranks and could help them with seeding down the road. i think UCLA will still be in the West (and keep in mind the last 2 years they were the #2 seed in the West) and still got to the Final 4.

i think the loss was good for UCLA. They got a taste of what happens when they don't play with intensity for the full game and when they miss key free throws (things they need to work on). No longer being #1 will take some pressure off of them and i think the loss will humble them and help them to focus. i don't think they'll drop too far because most agree that Texas is underrated so they should move up into the top 5.

Ucla are def as good as addvertised its just Texas is way underrated every1 thought texas wouldnt be as good without kevin durant but look how far they went with all those freshman now this year with more maturity texas only losing one starter are defantly a contender.. maybe a dark horse but they defently have a chance.. they have an extremly tough schedule playing ranked teams: kansas st, texas am, kansas, UCLA, michigan st, tennesee, wisconsin, texas tech
this will defently prepare them for the tourney and you no your good when a guy going into the game that averages +20 pts a game scores 5 and u still find a way to win.. they hustle they grab rebounds and they can shoot.. they are for reall and DJ augastine.. Naismith?? lol im not gunna goo tht far maybe big 12 mvp

Texas stomped a very good Tenn. squad and, until today, no team had come closer than 15 pts to them. Clearly they're better than people thought they would be. UCLA remains a #1 seed quality team. 2nd game back for Collison, 1st for Roll - they're still getting back in the swing of things which probably accounted for the slow start today, and Love is a freshman after all so he will only get better. No shame in losing to a very strong Texas team. Perhaps they will meet again in the Final Four.

-2(x-4)+2=8 subtract 2 to the two facets so which you're left with -2(x-4)=6 distribute -2 so which you have -2x+8=6 Subtract 8 to the two facets -2x=-2 divide -2 to the two facets you're answer is x=a million

Games this early don't mean much. Come tournament seeding time, nobody will remember this game. The effects if this game are zilch.

does it really matter? As long as a team gets 19+ wins they will be in the tourney. So one game is pointless, lets just fast forward to where it really matters

They made so much hype of Love, Love, Love. Well, where's the love now? Dickie V's "diaper dandy" couldn't get it done.
