My take is that, despite all the fuss, gender is not an issue in this country. I know I'm ready for a women President but not one named Hillary Clinton. She has no experience other then a few years as Senator (less experience then even Obama!), is a closet communist, and is too closely associated to a disgraced former President (21 friggin indictments and the resultant impeachment, for crying out loud!).

I think quite a few Americans are ready for a female president, and the rest may just have to learn how to live with it.

What does being a woman have to do with what is best for the country??? Are you one of those that are afraid that a woman could do better than a man in the same job classification.....I bet you worry your penis is too small too huh...lmao...sorry couldn't resist that one.....If you think about it in very simple terms, women run everything anyway....I mean who gets to decide how the wedding will be handled, when you get married??.....Who decides what type of house you get, what type of furniture to put in it, how to decorate, how to paint, how to do the landscaping, how to raise the kids, how to clean, how to keep finances, how to spend money, how to dress, how to balance the check book....or did you not have a mother????
Why do you think there are more male contractors than females, because women act as the CEO calling the shots of how things are to be done and we men are merely the laborers who do the work....lol

In America the president does not run the country--our biggest problem right now is we have one who thinks he does.
Americans run this country--not the people in Washington, including the president. He/she is there to carry out the laws and the will of the American peopple--he/she is a public servant, not a master.
Is America ready for a woman as cheif executive to do this? Absolutely.

If she has the right policies, why wouldn't we be ready? Gender should have nothing to do with the way this country is run!

this is a question people ask to justify not voting for Hillary. If you think someone else represents your position on issues better, vote for them. If Pakistan can have a woman leader, don't you think we can handle it in "progressive" US?

Yes indeed as long as she is qualified and is good for the country. Hillary is not the one by the way.

Electing someone to president based soley on their gender is sexist also I would think. It would be if I was talking about a man, anyway.
