I'm a graphic designer and photographer and would like to attend a crafts fair that allows photographers to sell their prints. I've never sold my prints to the public before so I was wondering if there was anyone out there that would have some advice for a crafts fair newbie?

For example, what size prints should I offer, how many of each should I anticipate on bringing, things like that.

I've done tradeshows before for my design biz, but actually having a tangible product to sell is new to me.

A crafts fair will be tough. People will admire your photos and feel like it's enough. Do you have time to make up a bunch of postcards and greeting cards and have photos screened onto ornaments, shirts, totes and other useful items, or have them mounted on top of jewelry boxes or sharing a frame with a wall mirror?

There is a Yahoo group called "Scrapbooking 4 Others". They offer a lot of help and guidance. They have files full of helpfull articles and suggestions. You need to get your work out there by doing small church or community fairs. Maybe start making a lot of premade pages, mini albums, and cards to be ready for the holiday season of craft fairs that start in September. One good seller at the craft fairs is the "Explosion" mini album. Hope this helps. Bobby in MD.
