hey im in the same situation...
ask for something you NEED and want. Money is good, or giftcards. Clothes and fashion accessories are good, too. If you play sports then something for your sport (s), is a good idea. Perhaps an electronic like a camera, iPod, or laptop. Maybe a room makeover? Books? Jewlery? Something for your phone. A later bedtime? Tickets to a concert? A trip? A camera?
Just start thinking of what you need and you'll get a good idea of what to ask for.
Good luck and Merry Christmas!

think about your interests or try to get new interests. For example: if you like music, ask for some CDs or ask for a guitar and learn to play it! Just some ideas.

I'm 27yrs old and if I could go back 12yrs I would ask for money every chance I could get and then I would put it into a savings account until I had enough to invest!!

i used to ask for cd's or videos as dvd's weren't around then lol,i was into books and make up ,basically you should ask for what you really want,my mum used to ask me to write a list of everything and then she could pick from the list what to buy me.

I agree with what everyone is saying..money is always the best bet.
As a 16 yr old, I guess the next best thing would be a car..hehe.

If it is that hard and you don't need anything then have everyone to put money in a savings account for and save for a car when you are able to drive or for college

Christmas is about giving - not getting. Just be thankful for whatever it is that someone finds in their heart to give you.

What do you want/need? If nothing, maybe you should ask for nothing. get the family to go volunteer or something.
