38 x 2 = 76

76 - 7.6 = 68.4

68.4 + 32

= 100.4 F

(I dont use the formula, I have my own, and its very easy you can see exactly what I did

F=9/5C +32
9/5 *38=342/5=68.2+32=100.2F

38 x 9 / 5 +32

The celsius number multiplied by 9 then divided by 5 then add 32 = 100.4

For future reference, the formula to figure that out is;

(1.8*deg C)+32

So;

(1.8*38)+32=100.4
