This is the only thing he's in to! He has a Mitsubishi VR4 3000gt and it is all he cares for. He spends hundreds and hundreds of dollars builging it up!

But i cant just buy him anything. I have a very low budget (like less than 100 type of budget). Is there any suggestions??

hmmm.
maybe a subwoofer?
Chrome/Altezza Brake lights.
Halogen headlights.
or a gift card to advance auto part.
(i got a gift card for last X-Mas)
cuz then you don't have to worry about something not working.
and he can pick out what he likes best =D

good luck!

Why not a specialized personal gift? Take him out riding around on Christmas Eve looking for Santa but make sure you pull over in the woods before delivering the present!

As a fellow Mitsubishi owner, I've found that JHOT Imports on Ebay often gets parts in for the GTO/3000GT. Depending on the year, a japanese market (JDM for short) set of tail lights and rear garnish would make for a nice gift.

Jhot Imports puts the frame code in all of their Ebay listing titles. For the 3000GT/Stealth, use "Z16A" and you'll find what you're looking for.

Chances are with a VR4 he would like to customize and tune it to his liking and driving acceptance. However, if you really want to get something for his car I would get him xenon head lights (also called hallogen). Some/most vr4s have them already. Look next time your with him or just ask. They are really bright almost a blue glow.

i don't recommend purchasing car parts. people who like to modify their cars are usually very very picky about parts and unless you know exactly what he wants (ie he's been talking about it a lot recently) it is very unlikely that you will pick a part that he will use.

i suggest you purchase something that is totally not related to cars at all, like a watch, video game, clothes, etc
