Best new RPG game?

Question

I am one for Final Fantasy series type games. Super mario RPG, Legend of Dragoon, breath of fire. Those types of fighting styles. The classics. FF-12 kind of got away from it, and since then I havent played them in awhile. Are there any new RPGs for the Computer or 360 that have the same classic fighting style, and good story lines? Just curious

Legend of Zelda is more of an Adventure game. I have beat em all. but i want an RPG like i mentioned. You walk around, you get attacked go into a fight sequence, you have your select group to fight with, etc... you gain Experience pts, grow levels. Zelda is nothing like that. I am looking for a new game for a new system that has the old classic RPG feel.

It's not new, but Dragon Quest VIII - Journey of the Cursed King is an incredible classic turn-based RPG. I enjoyed it far more than I enjoyed FFXII. Dragon Quest VIII has an old-school RPG feel, MANY hours of gameplay, a good story, likable characters, and a great invention system using an alchemy pot. I highly recommend it. EDIT - Sorry, I just noticed you were looking for XBox 360 or computer games, and the one I mentioned was for the PS2. I recommend Blue Dragon for the XBox 360. It's a solid RPG.

Runescape is actually one of the best on PC. It is free and you don't have to download anything. You can explore more of the world if you become a member and pay $5 a month which I found to be a really good deal. You can fight, fish, sell, buy, chat, fletch, cook, do quests, and fight other people. There is abundant number of things to do in this game.

Another I have found is Diablo 2 but you need to buy the CD for $20 and download it. You can go online and chat with others or you can play by yourself. This game is alright and there are pretty limited things you can do. Only buy, sell, and fight is pretty much all you can do. But if you get tired of Runescape, you could try this.

I think youre skipping over the entire Legend of Zelda series. although nothing can beat Ocarina of Time, the newest, Twilight Princess does try to come back to that feel, and looks great, and plays amazing.

Dungeons and Dragons 1rst version. you do not prefer a workstation or something particular, basically some stable friends and a D.M. (I do mean Dungeon grasp). i've got performed and DMed the different 2 variations yet nonetheless want the unique. something is plausible with a roll of the cube. Sorry, i'm going to artwork interior the computing gadget marketplace, yet I nonetheless like enjoying video games around a table, head to head with friends.

Lunar the silver star story complete, Lunar 2 Eternal Blue, and series are the best RPG gAmes for me. But they're not available for PC nor XBOX. Sorry.....................................
