LSU was beaten by two unranked teams. Who cares if it took six overtimes to do it they lost. They barely beat at least 3 other SEC.

Ohio State played a weak schedule and they were beaten 1 time. So if they played a weak schedule and made it in then what argument do they have for not letting undefeated Hawai’I into the NC? They played a weak schedule and didn’t lose.

Missouri was beaten twice by one of the best teams in NCAA Oklahoma. And they were beaten twice by the same team who was in the top ten both times they beat Mizzou. LSU was beaten by two different non-ranked teams.

This whole mess is garbage. And how does LSU jump over Georgia just because a technicality kept Georgia out of the SEC championship game? Did LSU show that they could beat number 4 Georgia before they jumped over them in the polls? No they didn’t.

I hope this BCS gets the lowest ratings in history. This proves that there needs to be a playoff. If you think that you can justify the NC game then please let us all know how you feel.

Ok Bill R. I am not saying that Hawai'i or Mizzou could beat anyone in the SEC. If you learn how to read you will see that I sad that Hawai'i played a weak schedule and so did OSU. So why don't you go back and read the statement or do I need to get you some hooked on phonics before you try again?

Ok Larry, now its your turn. First off Georgia is not my team. Second you show me in the rules that say a non conference team can not go to the playoffs. Before this year I bet people would say that a 2 loss team could not go to the championship.

Brandon R. I am not a Mizzou fan. No where in my statement did I say that Mizzou was my team. I do not care about them I just thinkt hat LSU is overrated. you claim that Hawai'i barely beat a weak Washington...well how abotu an LSU barely beating a weak Auburn, Alabama, and Ten int the chapmpionship? They ost to 2 unranked teams that weren't even number 3 in the SEC. What about that?

Anyone else who wants to allude to my favorite team it is Alabama and they are 6-6 this year. So if you think I am mad because they are not in the NC game then you can hang it up. There is no way a 6 loss team is going to a NC game especially when they lost to many uranked (LAMonroe) teams. I am not saying that AL can beat OSU or LSU (although LSU barely beat a weak AL) but there are better teams than both of the BCS NC teams.

Sorry your team didn't make it.

LSU would have showed Georgia if Georgia would have been good enough to make the SEC title game; they didn't. Third place in the SEC is not good enough for the NC game.

I would guess that money justifies the darn BCS system.

Let me be honest: I don't really care who plays in the NC game. My favorite team (Florida) isn't going to and shouldn't be playing, so to me this isn't an emotional issue. Since I pay more attention to the SEC, I am happy to see that LSU has made it.

The BCS clearly has flaws. Every year we see a team that has been left out, and dispute who should play in the NC game. Maybe this year someone will light a fire under the NCAA's behind and they will adopt a play-off system like they do in Basketball. It seems to work there.

Only time will tell. Sorry that your team did not make it.

let me guess Mizzou fan! Well first off if you can't beat a team once in two tries than obviously that team is better than you. The difference between Ohio State and Hawai'i is this Ohio State's SOS is 40 and Hawai'is is 119 out of 119 and barely beat Washington the worst team in the Pac 10 by 7 points at home and Ohio State beat Washington by 20 in Washington. Hawaii would get killed in the NC game just like they will against Georgia in the Sugar.

I do not agree with the logic of the question, but with the spirit of it.

Just to end the season - I hope the chokers - I mean Tigers from LSU win. And, I hope Hawaii buries Georgia! And, I mean buries them.

Just like last year, undefeated team wins their BCS game, and dont get a share of the title. BSU might not have been the best team last year, but on that night they were the best team in the world. NO ONE COULD HAVE BEAT THEM LAST YEAR. OU got screwed by a bad call and would have been playing in the title game if it wasnt for that. Just to prove how good OU was last year, their halfback is now the best running back playing on Sundays. He got shut down for 3 quarters against BSU last year. And, BSU used a little bit of Ole Coach Osborne and went for two - except they made it.

GO HAWAII prove the coaches and media wrong.

BCS = Bully Cartel Series.

Talk about sour grapes! Of course the BCS has a flawed system, but this season has been so difficult to predict. It's been one upset after another, but the fact remains LSU earned the right to be in this game. They should have never dropped to #5 in the polls, and do you really think the the #1 and #2 teams last week deserved to be that high in the polls? Obviously not. ESPN predicts this will be one of most sought after and most expensive tickets to purchase in bowl history. I guess that's because LSU sucks? Yeah right, grow up!

Anyone who roots for OSU or LSU can justify it.

College football is and always will be a big popularity contest. That is why I don't really care about it. I root for my team, and when they are out of the running, I switch to the sports that matter: the pros. The NCAA could care less if it is fair enough. All they care about is how much money they get. If that is how they are going to be, I'll stick to the NFL, where at least they are SUPPOSED to be about making a buck! If I wanted a popularity contest, I'd watch Miss America. At least their contestants are hot.

Don't cry Mizzou or Hawai would not be able to field a team in Dec. if they had to play a SEC schedule. If they had to go out and face FL., AL., GA., LSU, Tenn., Auburn and the rest, week in week out they are also rans in the SEC. So stop crying

No one can justify it including these shitty comments on here. Every team that blew that blew their chance at #1 or #2 does not deserve to be there, including my favorite team- USC. You have to be fair. If you look at it that way and go back to the BCS listings, it should be VT v Okla in the title game.
How can that game not be justified?
If these BCS officials have the balls to stand up to these big schools and say "you blew your f***** chance" then all of these undeserving teams would be dropped (OSU, LSU, USC, etc)
