I know that there are many young people among us and that is great, but I am 45 and look 25 in my avatar! Wouldn't it be nice to have a little bit more reality so we had a sense of who people are? :-) XO

Putting up the real pic is an option, but changes the anominty of course...I just am noticing that we all kind of look the same age! It is a little odd to me that these are the only options?

I am older than you are and love my refreshing young look!
If you want to make a more realistic avatar, try the Portrait Maker. It has the option of adding wrinkles.

I think it would be nice if we had the option to realistically age our avatars. I am a (still carded) 53 yr old woman. My boyfriend hates it, but I don't.

Use a picture of yourself that does not completely and totally identify you. I don't know any of you in real life and have no problem showing my real picture. However, it is usually a picture that shows me at profile or some way that does not completely identify me to people who know me (it's not like I care anyway, I have nothing to hide).

yes...there is no option to choose older looking avatars...a big failing.
