It means the constants that are relevant to a particular problem.

For example, if it's in physics and has to do with falling objects, then the gravitational constant is likely to be very relevant. In other parts of physics, the speed of light -- which is famously a constant -- might be relevant.

In chemistry, Avogadro's number is sometimes a relevant constant.
