greed.
NFL network charges the cable companies for the programs, the cable companies want to charge the people, but the NFL wants the cable to give it away in the basic package.

Don't worry about it. It is going to be gone in a year or two becasue the NFL Network doesn't make any more money - the bars and resturaunts do. I am a Packers fan and spent $15 on dinner the other night rather than pay for a channel to watch one game.

Like blackouts?
It depends what network pays the most to show the game.
Satellite especcially has lots of blackouts.
If you have a special NFL package and its blacked out there, try either your local, or tbs, espn, etc, its usually there instead.
Hopefully thats what you meant.

No kidding. Watching Dallas/GreenBay amongst the soccer and little league parties at the local pizza joint SUCKED.
So when we got home, I looked and I HAVE to have a HD satellite hookup with the HD upgrade to qualify for NFL...that is an extra $10/month! Pure crap.

You must be one of those people whose cable company doesn't carry it. If you're NFL Fan you would love this channel.
