i don't know exactly, but you can go to the runescape manual, and go to minigames, then pyramid plunder, it should tell you everything you need to know
by the way, the manual is an excellent source of info for curious players

I'm not sure exactly how many of each is needed. Usually when my staff is on its last charge I use it to tellie to him , play the minigame & just let him take what he needs when I'm done. The better quality the scarab, cat, comb, seal or whatever the less he'll require to recharge it.
