I have a good job during the day, but I'm thinking about working as a stripper in the after hours. For fun, as well as for the extra money. Do you think that's a good idea?

If you have the body and are not afraid of other guys looking at you, why not?

If all you care about is the money (since someone on here said they paid well) then go for it, but I personally wouldn't even if the pay was high. I mean, I think my safety would be an issue here. Unless I was a 5 foot 7 or 5 foot 9 body builder, I don't think would honestly have a chance with someone who will wait in the back alley for me to rape me after work is over. I just don't want to deal with the added fear or stress of it. But I mean if you really want to do it, then I can't stop you. Are you strong? can you take down a man who is holding you at gun point telling you to "strip down" for him and lay on the ground??!! Not me.

No, I don't think that's a good idea. The "fun" that you are talking about will wear off pretty quickly– do you really think it will be "fun" to be stared at and objectified by gross men every night? Plus, if you worked at a club in your town, you are bound to run into people you know, and think how embarassing that will be for everyone.

If you really need extra cash, be a waitress or something. Leave stripping to people who have no other options– and it sounds like you are smart and DO have other options.

Nobody can answer that except for yourself. You know what society thinks about people who are different, already. You don't even need to ask. The question is, do you really care what the majority thinks? How much does it bother you about their prejudices? And can you surround yourself with a few people who support your goals, confiding in those who are important to you?

Are you a good dancer??? Can you take your clothing off in front of people??? There's also some risk in doing it. After they place is shut down sometimes guys may hang out to possibly hurt you. Yeah they do that. You may tease them inside but once outside they may come after you. It happened to a good friend of mine and she got beat up pretty badly. Granted it doesn't happen to everyone but it is a possibility.

It doesn't matter what everyone thinks...If you want to be stripper you can be a stripper...if you want to be a DR you can be a DR...you just have to put your mind to it and be the best you can be.

No, what if you like it so much that you quit your other job? It's pretty addictive and soon you could find yourself living a bad lifestyle. It's not just a job, it's a whole different perspective.

Yes, it is great money. Plus, you can save up easier for college or a car. OK and people freaking out about this, she did not ask do you think prositution is a good idea, or should I sell my body for drugs. It is a legal thing to do in the United States and we can all make our own decisions. Live your own life.
