Now a days I'm starting to think that morality doesn't exist. It feel's so hard to believe in it these days. Yes I know ones person's morality may not be anothers. "One size doesn't fit all." But many times one person's morality can actually end hurting another person. But if it's not in their morality, does it mean it was wrong?
What I'm saying is, it's just a constant CLASH! One after another these days. Nothing makes sense. People just seem to be such an endless lie.
So does morality exist or is what do and don't do?

I STEAL A CANDY BAR FROM A STORE. I HAVE NO MORAL OBJECTION. WITHIN ME, I FIND IT OK TO DO SO. IT'S JUST A CANDY BAR.
BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I'M TAKING MONEY FROM THIS STORE.
I DON'T CARE.
A LOT OF YOU ARE SAYING IT'S UP TO THE PERSON, TO DECIDE WITHIN THEMSELVES WHAT IS "MORAL." BUT A LOT PEOPLE'S "MORAL" CODE INTERACT WITH OTHERS THAT MIGHT FEEL THE SAME.
YOU MAKE A BOOK TELLING FOLKS HOW TO CHEAT. YOU THINK'S IT'S NEEDED AND YOU THINK IT'S OK.
I'D CALL YOU A HORRIBLE PERSON! ENTICING PEOPLE TO CHEAT!!
HOW DARE YOU?
BUT YOU HAVE NO MORAL OBJECTION.
WHICH ONE OF US IS?
ARE WE BOTH RIGHT?
THINKING ABOUT IT, PROBABLY WE ARE BOTH RIGHT. . .
BUT ARE WE REALLY?

A personal system of morality is very necessary for each person, we need a code to live by, otherwise it's as you say... we don't know what to do or what's 'right or wrong'. We live a lie when we go against our own moral principels, e.g. if I believe that "stealing is wrong", and yet I steal, I am living a lie against myself. You must decide what rules you want to live by, and then do your best to live up to them. That makes a person of integrity.

If you know and accept that one person's morality may not be others then I think, you should also accept that a morality of one time need not be morality of another time. That would essentially imply that morality varies with people(society),time and place. That being the case,if two people with different sense of morality about an issue meet ,there is bound to be a clash, hurt, grief, disappointment, complaint and resentment and should be accepted as a natural outcome, which could have been foretold. In the light of the above, your feelings are natural and justified from your side but not necessarily by other party.Morality is a very loose and highly flexible term and one should therefore be prepared to face even opposing meanings assigned to it by others.

Morality is very subjective. We tend to live by a moral code that is compatable with what we think is right. However our value system may differ from someone else.We cannot impose our values on someone else.We must accept that each prson has a right to live their life as they choose within the limits of what is legal. It may appear that morals are on the decline but sometimes "the good old days" were not all that great. There was a lot of judgement going on ,persecution of anyone who was different and a lot of shame and blame.Unwed mothers, homosexuality, divorce and spousal abuse all existed in the past .I don't think morality is on the decline I think people just are more open about once taboo subjects.Today,We are supposed to be more imformed and should understand that we are all different .Life is not an endless lie, nor is it always pretty.

Moral's exist, everyone just has their own depending on how they were raised. However some people, such has certain religions, expect everyone to have the same morals. Which this is a very bad thing to assume, because everyones are different.

Morality indicates what one OUGHT to do. What I think someone ought to do may not correspond with what you think he/she ought to do. Though certain oughts are widely accepted, which causes common notions of morality. Morality, essentially consists of what is socially acceptable or expected. Conflicting ideals, opinions, and backgrounds may skew morality on a whole, but perhaps the morality that remains most important are the oughts you hold yourself to. The standards you set for yourself. Don't look outward for morality, rather look inward, for morality lies within you, not in the world.

Morals are relative, they depend on our own personal growth in the world. The varying conditions of our environment program us as individuals.
