It will be interesting to say the least...a lot of good players out there. Manny Ramirez.....played for the Indians & went to Boston.....I don't quite understand why the Red Sox are getting rid of him other than $$$...I have to agree with you Johnny...Cabrera first & of course Santana last....only because he is the biggest talk & the player every Team would luv to get. Guess we'll find out soon.

I think that Santana has to happen first for all the rest of the "big" trades to fall in behind. Cabrera and Tejada will follow soon after. Smaller trades like the Ken Griffey move would happen some where in there; along with the Mets moving a catcher but they are not blockbuster deals.

The Santana deal will be done by Tuesday latest and the buzz is the inclusion of either Ellsbury or Lester but not both. Twins did that deliberately because they value the Yankee offering more.

Cabrera goes next, and I'm still betting to the Angels. The two that are up for grabs are probably Rowand and Jones. I think that Jones will be leaving the NL for the AL --- it will definitely add years to his career. Rowand may be in pinstripes next year if the Santana trade goes NY's way.

Remember that Bedard and Haren are on the move, although Orioles management has said that they want to resign Bedard. I'm hoping the Cubs pick him up as well as Fukudome from Japan.

I'm down here at the winter meetings in nashville... the buzz is really on the update that the red sox are willing to throw in jacoby ellsbury... ill be hanging in the lobby tomorrow in search of rumors and of course jobs, but i have a feeling the first big trade is going to be johan, and it'll be done by tomorrow night. you may see some smaller trades done tomorrow afternoon.. the mets have 3 catchers, so they'll have to unload someone.. and remember the rangers are in need of a centerfielder so you may see some action on their part. i'll stop in frequently with any rumors i hear.
