I just have a mini real life Christmas tree, I keep the same one all year long. I don't dress it up or anything though, I think that's ridicules for the poor tree.
Other then me and my daughter having a really big 'spacial' meal sometime in the day, most people would say I don't celebrate the winter Holiday. It's true. I only acknowledge it.

Spending time with family. Listening to Christmas music and drinking some hot coco. We also like driving around looking at lights. On Christmas eve, we open one gift.

Its nice to celebrate it with family and friends of course. It will be nicer to have festive food on your table.
But the true spirit of Christmas is carols, lights and giving. So I make it a point to have one gift to each of my loved ones. Even the cheapest gift but personalized is so much appreciated. I wrap it up with personal touch, I use scrap materials and even used newspaper then I put ribbons on it. Its so nice since we make it a point to open the gifts at Christmas eve - no peeking.
My happiest Christmas is when we went out in the park, it is so cold that we even bought another pair of everything, gloves, jackets, bonnets, even socks! Its so fun doing it with your family. I put socks to my mom and my sister to me and so it goes... We were laughing so hard while we are like dressing up in the park.
We had some cheap food in the streets while watching the lights and feeling the cold breeze...

Well on Christmas Eve, my mother always works that day and night. This year though I'm going to her nursing home to play my flute, and sing with my choir group for the older people. I think it will be so much fun. Spreading joy with my favorite thing I call music.

So then I'll go home, or we might stop and drive around our neighborhood and look at all the lights and stuff.

Then when I get home I'll go in my room, and get into my PJ's, and sit in my bed and watch any Christmas specials that are on my TV as I wait for my mom, sometiems I'll send her a nice little text.

When she finally gets home I'll run up to her and say Merry Christmas, and I loved her and miss her so much. So I'll let her rest a bit, and stuff after her long day at work and stuff. And then after a while we get to open ONE present, but we have to pick what present to open for one another. My mom usually gets a mug filled with candies and I usually get PJ's.

So after that I go to bed and try to fall asleep, if I can't fall asleep I listen to my music. On Christmas day I'll wake up and go to the bathroom and tell my parents Merry Christmas. And I give myself time to wake myself up and make myself Green Tea. After a while we all open our gifts, and when it's all opened we unpackage them and stuff.

After a little while wwe pile up in the car and go to my uncle's and aunts for a nice meal and more gift opening.

I love it!!!

Family, food & fun! The holidays (haha - how many of us actually get holidays??) are a time of festivity and I love the way most of society gets behind the tradition.

For me it's about giving. Not just gifts but time, love, smiles, hugs & kisses! It's about the hot summer days, the sunshine & the sunburn (yes people, I know it's not good to get sunburnt!), swimming in the backyard pool and barbeques on balmy evenings...stop by sometime, we'd love to see you - such is the nature of my holidays...!

that's fun! we also get together with my wife's family on Christmas eve, and have a buffet dinner and exchange gifts, read the story of Christ's birth from Luke, and the kids put on a mini-concert of carols on their band instruments-sax, flutes, clarinets. then we go home and i read 'twas the night before Christmas' to my girls...they wake me at an ungodly hour to open gifts...then we go to my mom's and have breakfast and open more gifts with my family, then it's back to my wife's brother's house for a huge dinner
