I let it slip that a guy friend of my friend slept over (this happens occasionally, but it's nothing), and all of a sudden we have 5 kids and I'm pregnant! It's funny now. Not so much when it was..."active."

I was also out of school for a month due to illness, so that didn't help any lol.

I don't think I've started any rumors lately....That's all it takes sometimes for people to get upset. Someone starts it and it gets bigger and bigger as it travels. Until finally someone goes to the person it's about and asks them about it and finds out it's bogus. That's how people get really upset at so called friends.... 5 kids...and pregnant now. Congrats...

I had a similar one- people at work noticed I'd gained a few pounds and spread the rumor that I was pregnant. Once I'd lost the weight (a couple of months later) I suddenly had given the kid away-supposedly because my man threatened to leave me if I kept it!.
The truth was that I was on steroids (for an illness) and they make you gain weight quickly. Once I"d gotten better the weight came right off.
For months I had people eyeing me oddly and giving me dirty looks.

Like each week in the past a woman became telling some people who I had a threesome with this woman and this different guy that graduated final year. that's punctiliously fake, pondering i've got not seen the two of them on account that June while they graduated, nor might I ever have intercourse with the two of them. My sophomore year somebody reported I went to rehab because of the fact i became long gone for virtually 2 weeks on trip. My college is packed with people who merely like to gossip and sit down around and communicate approximately others. that's relatively tense.

Yes, and it caused me to have a nervous breakdown. I missed school for 3 days and I had to get consoling. It was in the 8th grade. This girl had turned the whole 8th grade against me because I told her that her boyfriend was a jerk. Turns out I was right, but she didn't want to admit that. So I had tons of girls trying to get me to apologize when I didn't do anything but look out for her best interest. That was the worst time I thought. It hurt me really bad because I''m extremely shy, and I had just moved there. I was like, omg.

I can't say I have, not that I know of... But I have gotten in very few fights and have never lost (with guys and girls) so, in high school, I didn't get messed with much...
