the sheet protector is really fragile; and i've already taken all of the paper part of the tags, with nail polish remover. There's just the little bit of glue that won't come off....

Let the protector soak in warm water for 5-10 mins until the water has pentrated the tag thoroughly. Use your fingers to massage the tag and glue off. Any stubborn glue can be removed (still soaked and warm) with a PLASTIC knife (found in most ffood joints lying near napkins and ketchup.) Don't use too much force at once with the knife, just gently rub the tag/glue with it until all is gone.

Good luck.

Rubbing Alchohol or Finger Nail Polish remover

Of course, Goo Gone would work best, but since you don't have any, vinegar is a usable substitute. Apply vinegar to glue (using a sponge or rag), hold for several minutes, glue will then scrape off easily.

try using finger nail polish remover on a paper towel. The acetone is the remover will eat the adhesive.

Hi Stephi,

Use creamy peanut butter( any kinda but creamy) rub it on both sides keep rubbing until sticky stufff is gone then wipe clean, this should do the trick. . Have a good night. :0)
Additional Details: Also Murphy's Oil soap works on adhensive removers but not everyone has that.

what i usually do is pull of the really easy to get off top part of the tag, then use rubbing alcohol(no it would mess up the surface) and a cotton pad, and rub it on the spot for a little while, as well as rubbing my finger on the (now covered in rubbing alcohol) spot. good luck! i know they're hard to get off, but it just takes time, sadly!

Take a napkin and wet it with hot water, not soak it though; just dampen it. Then lighty scratch at the sticker. It should slide right off.

Rubbing alcohol usually works but spending some money on goo-be-gone will be worth it.

get a towel with hot water. Rinse water over the plastic and start rubbing away with the rag.
