Its a major problem these days. I just wish that the international community would stand firmly behind the rules of war. The rules of war clearly dictate that if a hospital is not a legitimate target for military action. BUT if you put a rocket launcher on that hospital it ceases to be a hospital and is now classified as a rocket launching facility. If Israel was to follow the rules of war it could have won the war. But that's the problem...Israel doesn't want to kill a innocent people. I do think that if maybe we just let them know that those tactics won't work anymore (by bombing schools, hospitals that are being used by terrorists) they wouldn't use them anymore and the fight would be fair.

It has not happened yet ... I think it is getting close to a draw, in which all the people around the conflict are the victims.

Hezbollah sends all kinds of missiles and bombs into Israel. Israel sends all kinds of munitions into where Hezbollah was shooting from. We are beyond counting how many innocent civilians have been killed by this.

Well they are still trying to beat them. The fact is when you have a group of men that run and hide behind women and children and use them as human shields it makes it hard to kill them. truth is, Israel could defeat Hezbollah very easily. They just have to be willing to kill the people Hezbollah is hiding behind. Yeah it's bad to kill women, children, and old men but sometimes you have to if the enemy will not stand up, be a man, and engage in a real fight.

If you're going to look at it this way, Hezbollah ''defeatd'' Israel by using cowardly guerrilla tactics, and perpetuating regional fear of a larger operation by Israel, which in turn prompted the international community to urge for an end.

In reality, Hezbollah repelled the Israeli beast they incited. There was no defeat, Israel still stands, and Hezbollah has since sifted off into playing Lebanese politics and releasing public statements.

Hezbollah defeated Israel by not being defeated by Israel. Their terrorist goons provoked the war by kidnapping two Israeli soldiers for no good reason and managing to hold onto them thorughout the war because Israel is too PC to bother laying waste to the entire group in a long and protracted war.
