I have a 1988 Ford Ranger (Fuel Injected) and I flush my radiator myself. If you don't have any leaks in your radiator hoses then to flush the radiator it should cost your about $35 (including tax). This price includes 2 gallons of Prestone 50-50 Pre-diluted Antifreeze and 1 bottle of Zerex Radiator Super Flush.

As for the fuel injection flush you don't really flush it. Go to your local auto parts store and buy a fuel injection cleaner, and the next time you fill up when you are done filling up add the bottle of fuel injection cleaner in with the gas. It is recommended to do this every other fill up.

Hope this helps!!

I think DeCarb is simply to remove carbon deposits, not having to do with the carbuertor. I could be wrong, but that would be my guess. I would say that price is inline with all of that work, however does all of it need to be done? Only you would know your maintenance history though. The transmission is something you should take care of if you haven't already. Coolant is also important. They both should be serviced about every 2 years, 30,000 miles. (Unless there is something special about this vehicle, I am not familiar with it) Those are the standard intervals though. The differential is also important, take care of it. The transmission, cooling system, and differential will all cost alot and create a big headache if you do not take care of them, so do it. I personally would skip the DeCarb and fuel flush, unless they have a good reason it should be done on this vehicle. Changing the fuel filter is always a good idea though. You can probably get all of it done much cheaper at an independent shop. You have to watch out for them too though, especially when they are servicing higher end vehicles. Most dealers create their own maintenance schedules that include more things than the manufactures schedule. Is this possibly the case here? Follow the manufactures schedule always, and if it does say to do the DeCarb and Fuel Flush, do it. But I suspect that is a dealer add on service so they can make more money. I mentioned this to my husband, he laughed about the fuel flush, but said if it's a fuel injection service and you were having problems it could be beneficial. He also said that the DeCarb is important, carbon builds up and will mess up the compression and cause the car to ping. So if you are having problems, its a good idea. If you aren't having problems, do it later.

Fuel injection flush is a stupid joke they pull on women....My Daughter once took her car for an oil change and they "rooked" her for $50.00....
buy a good "Fuel Injection cleaner..like "Techron" from a car parts store and use it..like every tank full for a month....
I put in a cup full of "Lucas" fuel injection cleaner every month
when I fill up......When I go get my yearly "Smog check - in Reno Nevada"..I compare the numbers on the Smog results
and the results are remarkable...........Your engine runs clean and you get the fuel mileage when your car was new.....
So forget the "Fuel injectionflush....

Coolant flush about every two years...Coolant does get old!!

Fuel injection cleaner in the gas every few months is fine. $4. I don't worry about the radiator unless it starts running hot at which point I replace the thermostat and a few hoses also.

around $50 to $60 depending on where you go. but as a mechanic i do not recommend getting this done unless you are having some sort of problem as it can dislodge dirt and cause things to get plugged up. the same goes for transmission flushing and engine flushing
