LMAO
No.. Actually what you just suggested is a good study in understanding anger.
It is the hypocrisy within each of us which causes us to be angry for what we see in others denying about ourself?
Want proof? LMAO being a trecky ya gotta look no further than Star Wars movies, but, looking as to why?
The whole world functions on Greed Hypocrisy Sloth, or laziness and lies. When you know you can prevent syncism sarcam and skeptical ways from a negative spirit, you know by being loving, you inherit the power of god, love, enjoy! LOL if that aint made you angry its okay for me to not be angery but tolerant, for in Galatians 5 nine fruits of the spirit have always been my focus, lmao, not caving another persons skull in, either as cyber bullying or idiocy about having worry about this or that, for truly never am I happier than in the randomly uncertain world where my own ego is subdued by the spiritual beliefs in being forthrightly bold but gentle, enjoy your day, giggles, I sure as heck aint gonna get angry if thats what you want?
Now, where did I leave my sock draw, ruddy thing needs sorting again, gosh, loved your question, what sponsored it?

All in all , anger is very unhealthy. It eats you from inside. Whether it "allows" you distance from others is almost irrelevant because it's not a healthy distance. People are avoiding you. You are lashing out. You are distancing your self in an unhealthy way. The person who internalizes it will end up having a stroke at an early age. Neither person is happy or healthy. Neither is desirable company socially.

Have you heard the Monte Python cut involving the gentleman who is looking for the argument room and inadvertantly steps into the "Abuse Room?" When he finds the argument room, the entire argument revolves around whether or not there is an argument.
Listen to the abuse room. It may gratify whatever perverse need you are experiencing.

why would I, I have no reason to..
I have a cracking line in sarcasm and insults for people who really do annoy me, tried and very well tested.. 90% of them leave the person speechless..
the desired effect =)
but I use them in rare cases, when a person isn't so nice.
