intra-racial? meaning marrying within your own race? if that's who you love and want to marry go for it.

What is truely the difference? Now a days we are all mixed with something...Like me i am Native American,French,Danish,and german so on and so on... There is really no true white race anymore as in our ancestry it dates back so far that you could never really be quite sure of what you are 100 percent! So to answer your question i think it is absulutely awesome that two people who love each other get married...No matter what color,religion,sex ect...Because when all is said and done its all about the love that the two people share for one another right? Love is love no matter how much you try and flip it around in your mind! I breed pets for a hobby.
I noticed something that has bearing on your question.
Whenever a breed is kept "closed" you run the risk of deformities, as they did in Europe when Monarchs married cousins and produced offspring with mental deficiencies and health problems.
I noticed that children from mixed marriages are generally more healthy and more immune to potential health threats.
I also noticed that some of the children from mixed marriages have difficulty identifying themselves with any one race.
But over time, this will even itself out, and the general population will mostly look alike as they keep blending.
I took a scientific approach to your question.
Most answers have no particular viewpoint and are indifferent to our societal changes.
Some still have difficulty accepting the blending of races.
I keep an open mind.

Totally opposed. Not so much as seeing that one race is superior to another -but:
1) Maintaining an equitable family pedigree, whether it's black, white, or asian. that is, maintaining a good mix of different, but distinct cultural identities. I believe that's why human beings were not all one race to begin with. Variety is wonderful.
2) For the sake of the children of a mixed marriage, whereas they are often targeted by other children (and racially-biased adults) as "mutts" or "half breeds." My sister teaches school and is appalled at the names that other kids use for these children.
It's a damn shame...and perhaps all will change someday, but it presents a lot of problems with in-laws, children, and so on.
Sorry in advance as many here will refer to me as a racist, and preparing for a new record of "thumbs down."
