i was a lot younger..i was happly married (now divorced)..i was in the navy...hippies..flower children..good drugs...nifty bands...i came back from vietnam alive..gas was cheaper...no guns/ipods/cd's in schools..no fear of flying...no war on christmas..tv shows...no fear of terrorists...you were allowed to hold hands and hug in schools..

There are plenty of people who will agree, as there is plenty of reason why it is a good thing even myself, even in this time where people say about what is crap about the 1970's and all they think about the 90's is the Vietnam war and as for this stupid the hippy thing, who cares, I couldn't literally give a t**s, nuff said

From 1965 to 1975 i replaced into 12 to 22 years previous. What worried me replaced into getting drafted at 18 and going to Vietnam. The Calafornication of Colorado. The oil embargo. The assassination of Bobby Kennedy The decriminalization of weed pollutants those have been the super concerns on my recommendations in that era as a white male.

Music was awesome. And I look at the movies from back then now and kinda laugh at them. I also chuckle a bit at the things we used to wear.. LOL....And as far as technology goes the fastest jet ever made was built in the 70's. And even today the speed it reached still can't be obtained by anything else.

The muscle cars, people were a lot nicer & not all about themselves, PC crap didn't exist, Nobody got DUI's...the cops usually followed you home.... Best of all....The music ....to this day it is the best music ever... you could say the Pledge of Allegiance & have prayer in schools.... =o}
