In our home,it's Jesus. I'm sure most of the grand kids think of the presents, but most of us adults,it's Jesus. When my oldest daughter was abt 5yrs old,she was in the kitchen helping me bake cookies,& she asked me when I was going to make the birthday cake. I honestly didn't know what she was talking abt & had my doubts abt her inteligence. I asked her for who we were suppose to bake a b-day cake for & she said for baby Jesus,it's his birthday. I was so moved by this that ever since,we have had a b-day cake for Jesus each Christmas. Kids are so sweet & innocent.

As a child we generally think of Santa.
Truthfully, we think of presents more than Santa...
As a teenager the whole area of Christmas become's gray, weird how we lose sight of the event.
Basically, it is a day where we have off from work and can relax.
When we become older we start to understand the true meaning; the birth of Christ and the magnificent gift He provided to all of us!
The above is not an overview for everyone since we all age differently.
However, in general the above is a very possible assumption.

My 1st thought is of Jesus..after all, that is what Christmas is really about..It is unfortunate that we all have become somewhat caught up on the Santa Claus and presents idea of this holiday.
Yes,I enjoy the presents--the giving part mostly...
Most of all,I enjoy celebrating this birthday of Jesus.!

You know its really sad to read this list , because the majority of the people are answering presents, santa claus, snow, etc. Do you people realize there wouldnt be any of that stuff without God? (Christ)mas is to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. He was born, and lived a perfect life as a human and died because of our sins. Now, because of him, we have a choice to live in heaven with him for eternity or to choose hell for eternity. I thank God everyday that I will be living in heaven with him and the first thing I think about EVERY Christmas, is the birth of my savior Jesus.

The majority have not been schooled to think "Jesus" . The mention of Christmas relates to presents, because most of have been brainwashed by the commercialization of the Holy day. We also think family, children, charity and helping others.

I can't speak for anyone else, but the main thing on my mind is hibernating until it's over.

addendum:
"...most people dont even care about Jesus' existence."
In fact, Eric, I do care about Jesus' existence. He was an exceptionally enlightened man and I appreciate his wisdom, along with that of Muhammad, Buddha, Lao Tsu and Robert Fulghum.
However, I fail to see how caring about Jesus' existence has any relationship to the "goings on" around December 25. I imagine Jesus would weep if he could see what is being done in his name.
