I ask because I got one quarter spot of gray hair and I got it when I was 29 years old and I have had to dye my hair ever since. I go golden blonde, so that it is less noticeable. No one knows I have a spot of white hair unless I tell them.

My natural hair is dirty blonde and the spot is right where my hair line starts to the right side.

I am female. No I do not dye my hair. I have hardly any gray and it isn't noticeable enough to dye.

I've been coloring my hair since I was 17. It was very dk brown and I'd get bored with it. I like the way my hair feels when I dye it, I've not used permanent color in yrs though, it gradually washes out. I have it nearer my natural color now, sometimes it's auburn. In the summer I do highlights and the white (mine never stopped at gray) isn't to noticeable. If it the same color all over I might leave it, but it's not. My complexion is very fair too and I look better with darker hair. Mom's 72 and she still keeps hers blonde.

I have dyed my hair but it was many years ago. I don't have much grey (I prefer to call it very light blond) and my mom doesn't either, so I guess I'm lucky there. My husband was complaining a few years ago about all the grey in his beard, so I went to the store and bought some dye for him (just for men). I finally convinced him to use the dye and he was very happy with the results. He was so afraid that the people at work would notice, but no one said a thing.

Funny that you should ask that question. I finally broke down and had my hair dyed to cover the grey. It wasn't much grey and so nobody noticed that I had dyed my hair. And I don't like the way it feels, so I think that is the last time that I dye my hair.

You didn't say where the quarter spot of grey was. And what color your natural hair is. It might look quite distinguished.

Definitely ! My hair went grey in my thirties, and I've been tinting it every 6 weeks since then. I do it a nice soft honey colour which is flattering to an older face. A few people I know have let themselves go grey , but I think it tends to label you as being old, and I figure that if you have the choice, why not look as young as you feel?

My mom was very young looking but she refused to color her hair and I told her that I would never want to look older because I was gray, so as soon as I really began to get gray( I'm 65)I statred coloring it, I have gone from blond to brown. I look younger than I am and the brown hair helps keep my secret, all my friends are now coloring their hair except 1 friend who came in snow white and its beautiful,

I used to. I worried about the chemicals so I stopped. I just love the natural color of my hair. The front was pure white and for the last year I have color coming back into it. I don't know why, but it is fun to watch. Men dye their hair. They just don't tell anybody.

NO I dont dye my hair. i was born with a head of black hair, now at sixty three its silver and black and looks like its frosted. It is probably my best feature, other than the fact that i am 5ft tall weigh 115 lbs and have a knockout figure for an old lady.

I used to color my hair red but when I began to get noticible grey, where you would see silver roots with red hair, I switched to blonde. First I went platinum, that was kind of fun but eventually I went to golden blonde highlights that blend the grey because I look better with darker hair. I think there is no color more unflattering than brown hair mixed with grey, it just looks ungroomed and its terribly aging.

No I don't dye my hair now. I did lots when I was young but when I let the color grow out it was and is a silver instead of grey. People ( I don't even know ) compliament me on it all the time when I'm at the store or mall.

I have a spot like that too and I am a lot older, but I have been dying it blonde for 20 years at least. Hubby tried that grecian formula and said it did not look natural at all.
